Zambian hiphop pioneer Slapdeehas teased about dropping his long awaited project “Mother Tongue” which his fans have been kept in anticipation since last year.
The XYZ CEO first announced his interest in releasing an EP last year, about the same time Chef 187 was about to release his previous album “Bon Apetit“, a move which drew alot of comments from music fans about King Dizzo’s desire to go into competition with the Numero Uno. However, Slapdee was quick to hold back his interests, claiming he would give space to other XYZ members to release their projects before he could give out his. Mostly this was because Kobyhad already announced his sole Album “Young Legend” which finally came out on the 30th of November 2019.
Since then, only Nez Longhas been able to release another Album from the XYZ members, with his EP “School Fees” being launced online due to the restrictions imposed to curb the Corona Virus Pandemic.
In his recent Facebook Post, Slapdeehas teased dropping his Extended Play once again, citing the date for 20th November, just a day that Producer Killa Beats looks forward to launching his Final Music project “The Last Dance.”
This move however could again raise eyebrows as to whether SlapDeeis serious or could just be doing a stunt to steal the spotlight away from KB. However with so many singles released that are allegedly suspected to be part of the Mother Tongue EP, it could be possible that King Dizzo will finally be give the fans what they have been waiting for since last year.
