SlapDee VS Cassper Nyovest: HipHop Artists Exchange Words Ahead Of Proposed Boxing Contest!
HipHop fans around the globe have been left anticipating, after Zambian HipHop artist SlapDee publicly challenged South African rapper and business giant Cassper Nyovest to a celebrity boxing showdown.
SlapDee, who is currently nominated under Best Southern African Male rapper in the upcoming AFRIMMA Awards alogside Macky 2 has been making headlines for various reasons, and thi wek he has built on to that momentum by reaching out for Cassper Nyovest, asking him to through down in a boxing ring.
Cassper Nyovest, has already been involved in three celebrity boxing contests, winning two by knockout. His sole loss came via unaminous decision against NaakMusiq, a fellow South African rapper/actor.
Slapdee on the other hand, has not been involved in any professional contest, but has consistently shared training footage in a boxing ring since 2020, and fans believe he has the right skills to stand and trade with Cassper Nyovest.
After his callout, Slapdee received aggressive responses from the challenged, sparkling internet fuss as the two exchanged words over various Social Media Platfroms. It seems Cassper is also interested in the fight, as it would likely generate hefty revenue for both artists, but he intends to handle his upcoming fight first before proceeding with Slapdee’s challenge.
Despite the build up, some fans suggest the callout from Slapdee is a trick to sell a song reportedly in production for the two artists, as it had been long rumoured that Slapdee has recorded a single with the South African rapper hence they are both promoting the song.
Most fans and artists have reacted to the news, mostly in support of Slapdees move, except King Illest who took the opportunity to throw shade at SlapDee, but his jab was completely ignored in the process.
