Lusaka July To Be Held On The 25, With Miles Sampa As Ambassador
Current Lusaka Mayor Miles Sampa is this year’s Brand Ambassador to Zambia’s biggest fasion show.
The famous “Lusaka July” will make its 5th return this month on the 25th at Lusaka’s Polo Grill. During their official Media Briefing yesterday, PR Girl Media had huge announcements to make. They acknowledged that the coming of COVID-19 has affected many businesses and lives, thats why 10% of proceeds from the prestige event will be directed to women and children affected by the pandemic.
PR Girl Media also announced that during this year’s fashion show, the “new normal” rules will be observed; that includes social distancing and wearing of masks. The theme for this year’s show is “Polo In Yellow” suggesting that all guests in attendance are expected to wear yellow.

Since its introduction, the Lusaka July sometimes called the Zambian Met Gala has been a fasion show that brings Zambian celebrities together, to mingle& share entertainment, discuss business experiences but importantly to showcase their fasion designs. It is a great opportunity for local fashion designers and photographers to get exposed.
So far, the past shows have all been a success, with the attendance growing each following year. The appointment of Lusaka Mayor as Brand Ambassador comes as a huge progress, highlighting that the fasion show is growing and this year could turn out to be its most succesful event.
