“You Are Better Off On Your Own Without A Record Label” – KB

K-Army Producer KB Killa Beats has advised all upcoming artists to better work independently rather than expecting to be signed under a Record Label. He advised that time has changed, and just like any other type of evolution, things have changed in music business.

In a six (6) minute video shared on his Social Media Platforms, the “My Diary” maker emphasized on the idea that New Wave artists should concetrate on coming up with their own unique creativity, mixed with good business principles in order to stand out. He explained that working independently avoids the issue of misunderstandings in the near future especially when it comes to monetary shareouts. 

Killa Beats, who have had an amazing journey in his music career as a producer & song writer also hinted at hanging up the boots in the coming years. He shared that he is working on his last music album, to be named “The Last Dance” as it is inspired by Michael Jordan‘s documentary of the same title.

Regardless of his retirement plans, he pinned out that K-Army will forever go on. Killa Beats becomes the second pioneer of Zambian HipHop to announce retirement after Macky 2 confirmed of his plans to stay away from the Microphone.
