The rapper released an outstanding tribute song to the late Zambian Music Artists, following the passing of Daev Zambia.
David Phirii III, who was famously known as Daev passed away in a car road accident on his way from Chirundu to Lusaka. The country was left in shock after his passing and fellow artists and music lovers set up a memorable send off for the star, on wednesday when he was finally put to rest.
As expected, most artists who pass on are likely to receive a farewell song from fellow musicians. In Daev’s case, Tommy Dee pulled out a sensential rap song song, using Tupac’s beat for “Life Goes On” to express his grief. Then, the creative music force of Imisepela Shibili came together to create a masterful tribute song in which Umusepela Crownsang his expression while Umusepela Chilefound himself behind the camera, shooting and directing an insightful music video.
The well created video has however proved already to be an acceleration factor for Umusepela Crown’s music journey. The music video seems to have been received with warm hands by Zambian music fans who have already streamed it for over 75,000 times within two days, making it the most viewed video on the rappers Youtube channel. The closest video being his knockout rap battle against Master K4 which has around 18,000 views. Checkout the Tribute Music video below:
