KB Intends to retire from active music after releasing thursdays project
The Last Dance will be the final album to be produced by Killa Beats.
The Album will premiere the Ninth Episode of the My Diary Franchise
There will be more Diary sessions after episode 9
Renouned music producer KB Killa Beatshad earlier announced how he intended to retire from active music in style by offering his fans one last project he has called “The Last Dance.” Since its initial announcement, the K-Army music achitect has kept his fans enganged with every step taken towards giving out what we expect to be the best project of his entire career.
However, what most HipHop lovers are more interested in is none other than the outspoken “My Diary” sessions, in which most of the featured artists are known to rap about their music journey and the shadest testimonies are usually brought out in the open. With eight episodes already been successful, My Diary 9 has been under the anticipation of becoming one of the best in the line.
It has been no doubt that the eighth installement really triggered alot of speculation, due to its unique lineup of artists there in, who managed to speak their mind hence causing a series of drama in the industry, a thing which turns out to work well for rappers. To make it even more interesting, producer KBreleased the official beat to the public, indirectly throwing a challenge for young & hungry rappers to tear it apart. As much as alot of great talents took part, it turned out Rappers Crew Gee & Ninebo Chileshe had better stories to tell, earning them a K-Army affiliation which saw both artists record a song each.
Another interesting scenario emerged where the controversial Umusepela Chile pulled out his own strings, creating a beautiful version of the My Diary 8 Challenge; and demanding a spot in the next episode.
Last week, KBdisclosed the official tracklist and a pre-order link for his Last Dance project, also setting the official release date for Thursday, 19th November 2020. To the surprise of many music fans, Umusepela Chile was missing on the featured artists in My Diary 9, as well as Muzo Aka Alphonso whom KB had already cleared the air about his presence in the song despite the fans outcry. As many had suggested, it was assumed the latest episode could the the final inthe franchise, leaving fans with mixed feelings because they had really wanted to hear the Kasama Swag rapper share his story in a K-Army project.
However, one bold Facebook User was able to save the suspense whe he openly asked Killa Beats about the continuity of the My Diary Project, and the answer was hilarious!
