It is undeniably true that rapper Alpha Romeo was the first Zambian rapper to Give SlapDee & Macky 2 solid competition in the early years of the music genre in Zambia. His confidence & creativity took over the airwaves by storm, and with just a few months in the game, the “Will Yanga” hit maker was consolidated into the rap heavyweights.
Alpha Romeo seemgly worked with everybody during his prime time, but we cannot deny the fact that the best song songs he created involved the legendary PJ (MHSRIP), songs such as Monga Sindine, Mu Life Ya New & Teti Mbwelele.
It was surpring however, how our favourite hit maker suddenly faded off the spotlight, staying away from music for some years and only coming back to work with New Wave Producer Dee Jonz in what seemed to be a solid comeback with the hit single “Mwationako” in 2017.
One notable player in Alpha Romeo‘s success is producer KB via K-Army Records. When the studio was just being established, Alpha Romeo was the first artist to be signed and its no doubt that most of his hit singles where created by the Legendary Producer.
Regardless of the people not knowing what misunderstanding happened to lead to their seperation, Alpha Romeo still holds a special place of appreciation for Killa Beats, thats why he took a moment on his Facebook Page to show respect in a post below:
