It is undeniably true that the period between 2000 & 2010 was the climax of Zambian love songs. With artist such as K’Millian, Exile (now Izrael), Danny, Runnel, The Third, Hamoba, and many other artists, we witnessed the golden era of super R&B as never seen before in Zambia.

One special artist who blended in very well during that period was Ty2. He gave the Zambian fans swet music as never heard before, working with almost all the popular artists by that time. But ofcourse, HipHop music took over, alongside the most popular “Pop” and we sadly saw the sweet melodies fade away together with its artists. The mordern era has proven to be a hard surviving point for older artists, with only a few that have managed to blend in and keep up with the latest genre. We have witnessed Ty2 survive, from time to time giving us epic singles, but undeniably the industry is nolonger friendly eith him.

Therefore, the legendary musician has decided to go back to his roots, switching his direction completely and diving into Gospel Music, joining fellow Iconic artists such as Manasseh & MC Wabwino. The “Walinsulile” hit maker announced this first on Live Radio when he was hosted by DJ Pressure T on Joy FM, and then finally confirming this through his Social Media Page. Ty2 also announced that he he currently working on his debut Gospel Album, “I’m Home.”
