Superstar Roberto Shares His “African Woman” Story on BBC’s The Arts Hour

Award winning artist Roberto becomes the first Zambian musician to feature on BBC’s podcast “The Arts Hour”.

The podcast which is hosted by Nikki Bedi caters several personalities around the arts culture. Dominant artists from all over the world are invited to share their stories and ofcourse discuss specific topics as guided by Nikki.

The special edition which was held on the 31st of October, saw Roberto joining topnotch artists such as Mariah Carey, who discussed her sruggle due to her mixed race identity. Also present was rapper & actor RZA, actors Samuel L Jackson and Latanya Richardson Jackson who shared their story of 40 years into marriage.

Roberto was asked to shade more light on why he specifically created the “African Woman” song, of which he excitedly express his desire to unite the continent through his music.
