Rapper Umusepela Chile Advises Against Over-Branding For Artists

Too much of anything is a bad thing. That’s why recording artist Umusepela Chile has stressed about Over-Branding for artists in Zambia. He believes musicians are a tool for entertainment and enlightment, thats why it is very important to remain focussed on the sole purpose why they entered into the industry.

Over the years, we have seen various artist indulge themselves in promoting other products or even their brand. In as much as this is good for marketing in the business realm, the “Snake Of Moses” hit maker believes appearing in too many adverts converts artists into commercial robbots, who later forget to do their job and end up becoming boring.

Here is what he shared on his official Facebook Page.

Umusepela Chile has been on the centre of controversy this year, from the day he attacked Senior Artists in his infamous Snake Of Moses, till the day he openly declared his feelings for female Mcee Natasha Chansa. In as much as people wanted to believe that he pulled out a stunt to gain momentum for his career, there proved to be some rays of truth in his lyrics and alot of music lovers applauded his courage to be a trendsetter or probably a messiah for the industry in the years to come.

This was however not the end of his controversy. Out of nowhere, he dropped Mr Minister, a song which targetted Government Officials & their mulpractices. The open confrontation proved he was indeed fearless and true to his personality.
