Jay Rox Issues Apology Statement After Enigma Scores Huge Stream Numbers On Boomplay

Headphones Music CEO Jay Rox made some headlines two weeks ago when he seemingly spoke low of his Zambian fans and accused them of not giving him enough support regardless of his efforts to create amazing music. He further went on to suggest that he would consider relocating to another region, for the sake of expanding his talent.

However, in just a week’s time after releasing his sxth studio album Enigma, Jay Rox has acquired amazing stream numbers on Boomplay, forcing him to think twice about his earlier statement and finally settling for an apology to the local fans. The album received more than 300K streams just the first daty and is already treading to reach 1 Million streams before this week ends.

Jay Rox, has been pushing hard to penetrate international markets through his music, one move which has seen him strike a deal with Boomplay to exclusively market his now released album through Asia. Since his breakout from the Zone Fam, the artist has gone on to achieve great success as a solo artist, eventually launching his own record label, Headphones Music which houses artists such as Umusepela Chile & Zar The Supreme. He has also launched in the process his own sneaker brand, the Rox Edition.
