B1 Announces Plans to Launch Record Label Alongside Anticipated Music Release

B1, a renowned singer and songwriter, has announced plans to launch a record label this year. Known for hits such as Perfecto, Sikiriti, Chipute, Pillow, Suit, Kumayadi, and Kalata, B1, born Bruce Simbwalanga, has been in the music industry since 2003.

In response to fans’ calls for new music, B1 has assured that he is working on new material. He has also expressed his intention to set up a music label. B1 has been a pioneer in Zambian music, alongside artists like K’Millian, Afunika, and General Ozzy, who have been in the industry since 2003 and continue to make an impact.

B1 has emphasized that there is no such thing as retirement in music, but artistes cannot release music as frequently as fans want them. He has hailed the impact of upcoming artistes and the direction the music landscape is taking in Zambia.
