Female rapper Cleo Ice Queen is working tirelessly breaking international barriers for her career. Having won an AFRIMA Award last year, it seems like doors are only starting to open for her. In a recent Social Media Post, she has comfirmed to having signed a new deal with DefJam Recordings Africa, which is in partnership with Johnnie Walker, the makers of fine whiskey.
Def Jam Recordings is an American multinational record label owned by Universal Music Group and based in Manhattan, New York City, specializing predominantly on hip hop, pop and urban music. The label had a London based, UK arm known as 0207 Def Jam and was operated through EMI Records.
The details for her deal are yet to be disclosed, but signing a deal with DefJam Recordings means she will be joining other African giant artists including South African rappers Cassper Nyovest & Nasty C, female artists Boity & Nadia Nakai, among other lucky superstars.
We would like to congratulate Cleo Ice Queen for her latest feat.
